The North Gate of Angkor Wat is one of the lesser visited gates of Angkor Wat. There is no causeway here. The North Gate overlooks the north side of the moat. Here, water lilies grow in abundance. During the time when the temple was in used, visitors would probably have used the North Gate as a pier to arrive on boats.

Today, very few visitors come all the way to the north gate. Only a few hardy ones make the long journey on foot to this gate.
