    When to visit Argentina

Argentina is such a big country with much climatic variations, that there is no one single best time to visit. The regions furthest south, such as the glaciers, should be visited during the summer months, between December and February, when the weather is more hospitable. Buenos Aires is best explored in spring and autumn. Autumn is the perfect time to visit Mendoza, Cordoba and the Lake District, to enjoy autumn leaves in blazing colours. The places in northern Argentina, such as Iguazu Falls, should also be visited during spring or autumn, as the summers are just too hot. When planning your trip to Argentina, avoid the months of January, February and July, when the Argentines go on vacation, inflating prices across the country.

    What to wear in Argentina

Medium weight clothing works best in spring and autumn in Buenos Aires. Light clothing for summer and for places to the north, while warmer clothing is expected when visiting the extreme south.
