The currency in use here is the Cayman Islands Dollar, CI$. Banknotes come in denominations of $1, $5, $10, $25, $50 and $100 while coins are in denominations of 1, 5, 10 and 25 cents. The Cayman Island Dollar is pegged to the US Dollar at CI$1.00 = US$1.25. Banking hours are from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Mondays to Thursdays, and 9:00am to 6:30pm, Fridays. Some banks also open on Saturdays.
