Cochabamba is a city in Bolivia. With a population of 800,000, it is the third largest city in the country. The name of the city comes from two words in the native Quechua language: qhocha meaning lake, and pampa meaning open plain. Cochabamba enjoys spring-like temperatures the year round, earning it the nickname "Garden City".
