About Me Compare Hotel Room Rates from different Booking Sites

Find a hotel

In any trip, the expense on hotel accommodation takes up the biggest portion of a person's travel budget. To stretch your travel dollar, it is necessary to book the room you want at the lowest price.

Booking hotel rooms online is today the most cost-effective way of securing a room. It allows you to bypass the use of a travel agent. You can do it at home or on the road, as long as you have Internet access. But how do you ensure that you are getting the room you want at the lowest price?

If you have booked rooms online before, you will realise that different websites offer the same room at very different prices. To get it at the cheapest, you will have to go to each website and compare the prices before returning to the one at the lowest price. This is of course very time consuming. By the time you make your decision, the room is probably taken.

As a budget traveler, I make use of a Research Tool called HotelsCombined. It is not a booking site. Instead, it is a site that helps you compare and determine which booking site offers the lowest price for the room you are intending to book.

To use it, fill up the form on the right and click "Search". HotelsCombined will search through all the popular hotel booking sites out there and list out how much you can expect to pay, based on the destination and date of your trip. From the list, click on the booking site showing the lowest rates for further details. Try it. You are assured of the lowest price each time.
