Kuan Tai Temple, also called Sam Kai Vui Kun, is an important Chinese temple at Rua Sui do Mercado de São Domingos, the old market place and bazaar. It was built in 1750 and dedicated to Kuan Tai, the god of war and wealth. The statue of the deity sits on the altar flanked by images of his son and his standard bearer. The table for the offerings have an ornately carved front. |
