Leong San See Temple
371 Race Course Road

Leong San See Temple, also written Long Shan Si, is a Buddhist temple on Race Course Road, Singapore. The name translates as "Dragon Mountain Temple", and is based on the original Long Shan Si temple from An Ping District of Fujian Province in China. The temple was set up by Abbot Chun Wu who came from China, bringing with him a statue of Kuan Yin, the goddess of mercy. Abbot Chun Wu bought a plot of land on Race Course Road to build the temple. Initially it was merely a cluster of sheds. An altar was set up for Kuan Yin, and other time, other statues were added.

A new structure was built for the temple in 1926, with renovations carried out in 1930, 1962 and 1970. In the main prayer hall are statues of Sakyamuni Buddha, Kuan Yin and other Bodhisattvas. Also found are statues of the Sword Brothers of the Three Kingdoms as well as statues of Confucious and Cheng Huang.

The Leong San See Temple was gazetted a national monument on 10 November 1978.
