Lin Kai Temple, at Travessa da Corda, is a 17th century Chinese temple. It occupies a square off Estrada do Repouso, in Patane district. This is where the regular flea market is held.

The façade of Lin Kai Temple shows delicate carvings done in granite. On the roof are statues of Chinese lions. The main worship hall of Lin Kai Temple is dedicated to Ua Kuaong, the dark-faced deity and protector against fire. He is flanked by General Thousand-Li Eye and General Favourable-Wind Ear. In the adjoining hall are chambers to other deities, to the goddess of childbirth and rearing.

Along the walls are small statuettes of goddesses with children. These clay figurines are an excellent example of folk art. In the opposite chapel are more examples of these figurines. In yet another hall are other deities. There is Kuan Iam, the goddess of mercy, in a fringed-veil head dress, and further down, there is a hall to the monkey god.

Lin Kai temple provides support to a hospital and an old folk's home. The feast day of Ua Kuaong is on the 28th day of the ninth moon.
