The Museu de Macau, or Macau Museum, is one of the best museums in Macau. Lacated within the Fortaleza do Monte, Museu de Macau provides a detailed explanation about the origin and development of Macau. The life-size reconstruction of period shops and streets makes it a wonderful visiting experience.

The museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays, from 10:00am to 6:00pm and the admission fee is MOP$15.00.
