Our Lady of Sorrows Church, also called Ka Ho Church, is a fairly new church, compared to the other churches in Macau. It was built in 1966 to serve the Ka Ho Settlement, of the families of cured lepers and a few new cases. The outstanding feature of this church is its bronze crucifix at the north door. The crucifix was the work of Italian sculptor Francisco Messima.
