Pont d'Iéna is a bridge across the River Seine in Paris. This important bridge links the Eiffel Tower on the Left Bank to Trocadero on the Right Bank.

Pont d'Iéna was built by imperial decreee issued by Napoléon I from Warsaw. It was named to commemorate his victory in 1806 at the Battle of Jena, brushing aside other names such as pont du Champ-de-Mars and pont de l'École militaire.

Pont d'Iéna has added into the supplementary registry of historic monuments of Paris in 1975.

How to reach Pont d'Iéna

Among the subway stations in the vicinity includes the Champ de Mars-Tour Eiffel subway station for the RER rapid transit train, and the Passy and the Place du Trocadero-et-du-11-Novembre station for the Métro.
