Ripley Building, popularly called Old Admiralty Building, is the oldest building in the Admiralty complex, in Whitehall, London. It was designed by Thomas Ripley, a former carpenter. Ripley Building is a three storey u-shaped building completed in 1726. It is notable for being the first purpose-built office building in Great Britain.
Today the Ripley Building is given to the Cabinet Office and contains government function rooms.
