Upper Midtown is an upscale neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. This is where you can find a lot of churches, synagogues, clubs and museums. There are also grand and famous hotels here, along with state-of-the-art skyscrapers and luxurious apartments.

Upper Midtown was the home of the rich and famous of New York, in the 19th century as it is today. Up until the 1950's Upper Midtown was an upscale residential neighborhood, but the construction of Lever and Seagram buildings marked the arrival of prestigious office buildings to the neighborhood.
