Yamanakako, or Lake Yamanaka, is one of the many lakes surrounding Mount Fuji in Japan. We arrived there in early spring, and was surprised to be greeted with snow. It snowed throughout the night, and the next morning, Yamanakako was blanketed white. The forest became a beautiful winter wonderland. My wife and I enjoyed it very much, as we rarely get to see know.
